Here are the spelling lists for Year One this year. Please ask if you would like a paper copy.

Daily reading is really important in Year 1. Please sign the reading record every time you read with your child. We will have a spelling test every Thursday and you can find the weekly lists on this page. Below are some ideas to help your child learn their spellings:

Learning to read is hard work: reading for pleasure - reading to or with - and sharing stories is vital in Year 1.
