NMPAT (Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust) provides Helmdon Primary School with music teachers who attend school weekly to provide the children with expert tuition on keyboard, woodwind, brass, strings, guitar and recorders. Lessons are open to KS2 children with the exception of the recorder group which is open to children in Year 1 and above. 

For individual music lessons, parents purchase 33 NMPAT lessons per academic year and fees are payable directly to NMPAT by parents.  As a general rule, we only encourage children to learn one instrument at school with NMPAT as they have to miss lesson time to have a music lesson.
